There are numerous benefits to undertaking Thermage FLX treatments.
Thermage FLX is a non-surgical cosmetic procedure, which means you will not require anaesthetic, the procedure will not take long, and you will have minimal downtime following the procedure. This is a much quicker and economic option than other more invasive facial rejuvenation procedures.
It is a suitable procedure for those who have mild to moderate skin laxity; people who have excess skin laxity may not be suitable for this procedure.
Those who are lacking volume in their face will benefit from Thermage FLX as it will plump the face and add much-needed volume.
This procedure can also be combined with other non-surgical cosmetic procedures such as dermal fillers and anti-wrinkle injections. This will help to ensure you achieve more noticeable, longer-lasting results. Please note that these appointments cannot be done at the same time. Thermage FLX cannot be performed four weeks before or after any other anti-wrinkle treatment.
What to Expect
Thermage FLX uses radiofrequency technology to heat the deeper layers of the skin while cooling the outer layer of the skin. The heat causes the water molecules to separate from fibrous collagen. This causes a contraction and a tightening of the skin. Over the next few months, there will be new collagen production, which tightens the skin.
During the procedure, you will feel a warm sensation, however, this will be followed by a soothing cooling sensation which will ensure you will feel minimal discomfort.
You will start to notice results one week after your procedure, with full results becoming visible over the next two to six months.
To maintain your results, you may wish to undertake another treatment 12 months later.
Following the procedure, you will be able to commence your regular routine. To help extend results, we recommend you apply SPF 50+ sunscreen every two hours when you are outside.

Thermage FLX treatments will target the wrinkles, fine lines and skin sagging on the face, neck and jowls.
However, there are numerous other areas that are able to be treated, including:
